Marcel Hug is a Swiss wheelchair racer. "Swiss Silver Bullet", as he is often called, is a multiple Paralympic, World and European champion and has won no less than 12 Paralympic medals, including four gold medals at the 2021 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo alone.
Marcel has set several world records and currently holds the 800m, 1500m, 5000m, 10000m, half marathon and marathon records.
His achievements have earned him various titles, such as Swiss Paralympic Athlete of the Year seven times and the prestigious Laureus World Sports Awards.
